Teacher's Pet Care, LLC

     My name is Tim Welch. I grew up and currently reside in the University Park neighborhood. I have witnessed its incredible transformation throughout my years. In my youth, I attended University Park Elementary, Merrill Middle School, South High School, and then The University of Denver.

     I graduated from The University of Denver's Daniels College of Business with a B.S.B.A. in Business Management ('94). I then attended graduate school in The Morgridge College of Education at The University of Denver where I recently earned a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction ('05). I hold a Colorado Teaching License endorsed in both Elementary Education and K-12 Physical Education. I currently teach Physical Education and Health at Steele Elementary School near Washington Park.

     My wife Marni, our dog Woody, and I enjoy everything Colorado has to offer. Some of the adventures include mountain biking, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, camping, rafting, and especially the enjoyment of nature and her magnificent animals. Photography is one of Marni's true passions and talents. We always travel Colorado with dog in tow. Woody, our 8 year old Golden Retriever, accompanies us on most of our adventures. Without our unique dog accompanying us along our journeys, we would have missed out on many of the wonders we've experienced.

     You might cross paths with Woody and me at Observatory Park, our local stomping ground. Woody enjoys exercising and socializing with many other neighborhood dogs. I have accepted that I am just along for the ride. 

Our Business

I decided to establish Teacher's Pet Care, LLC after realizing how much I enjoy working with animals. I do however realize it is a business dealing with other people's beloved companions. Our pet means the world to us. I would hope that someone taking care of our best friend would be trustworthy, reliable, caring, and prepared. I have committed to operating my business with this professionalism. Your home and your pets are some of your greatest assets. I will treat and respect them accordingly. Having a licensed, insured, and bonded pet business is security to you. In addition, my wife and I are the sole operators of Teacher's Pet. Our trust, responsibility, and reliability are second to none (ask Steele Elementary families and community). Lastly, our love of animals shows with your pet(s).
